Mastic greek gum

Mastic is a resin obtained from the mastic tree. One of the earliest uses of mastic was as chewing gum.Most of mastic comes from Greece,chios. Mastic is used in ice cream,sauces,and seasonings in Lebanon. Used in pastries,sweets,desserts,breads,and in cheese. Some people chew it for repairing ulcers and for lowering blood sugar.
